premium rooms are very spacious and good bathrooms

Negativ:
Beds are not very comfortable. Rooms too hot. Lower price rooms are ok, but the shower in the bath with the shower curtain is not so good.

Good location; short drive Portsmouth office and within walking distance of other restaurants / facilities etc. Easy parking. Stunning views.

Negativ:
Rooms have no air-con. Would not book again on a hot day the temperature was very uncomfortable for sleeping.

Positiv:
The room I stayed in had been refurbished which was good. Previous stays prior to Covid the hotel was getting a bit tired. Also the price for rooms had increased.

Negativ:
Bathroom facilities though very good and functional needs to be modernised to the same standard as the actual room.

Negativ:
Unfortunately no air conditioning in near 30 degree temperature but a fan to blow the warm air around.

Es war das beste Hotel unserer 5 wöchigen UK Rundreise 

Negativ:
Ein Punkt Abzug beim Bad. Der Duschvorhang klebt während dem duschen an einem. Das ist aber jammern auf höchstem Niveau

I waited more than 15minutes to checkin and I have to go to the bar to ask for someone to come to the desk. They were very busy with a wedding, however, I did not have a single comment or apology for the situation. This would have been the minimum and I was not happy with such situation.

Sehr freundliches Empfangspersonal, an der Bar und im Restaurant.

Negativ:
viele und große Flecken auf Zimmerteppich, Türen und Bettlaken. Rost und Schimmel im Bad. Kronkorken auf dem Zimmerboden vom Vorgast. Staub und Schlieren auf Oberflächen. Einrichtung sehr alt. Rezeption war nicht überrascht, als ich mich über Flecken und fehlende Sauberkeit beschwert habe - erst, als ich dreckige Bettbezüge erwähnt habe, hatte ich die volle Aufmerksamkeit und ich habe ein neues Zimmer bekommen. Das neue Zimmer war genauso dreckig, aber das Bett war sauber.
