Staff were great in helping me when i needed a mat for the tub as I have balance issues and slip if no mat is present. They were very friendly and helpful. Darcy was fantastic

Negativ:
There was NO hot water for showers on any of the 3 mornings and the walls/carpet/decor are getting banged up, dingy and dated. Crowne Plazas are supposed to be premiere hotels and this one is nice but not representative of what they should be in terms of cleanliness and decor.

Gimnasio, desayuno, comodidad de la habitación. La localización es excelente respecto al centro de la ciudad.

Negativ:
La habitación tenía un desperfecto (moldura del espejo rota y en el suelo de la habitación cuando entré) y no se limpió la habitación un día. El parking es escaso, se llena muy pronto. No era posible elegir la temperatura de la habitación con libertad.

I was surprised to be asked if I wanted room service on checking in, after answering no as I would eat and drink outside the hotel did not full realise this meant that the room would not be cleaned or bed made up for three days. br /Each floor is generally quite clean despite foot traffic.
br /The cleanliness of the room bathroom.
br /Really nice to have a separate body wash and shampoo, as well as conditioner.
br /I liked the provision of hand wash and also body lotion
br /The in room iron and ironing board are quite good compared to others Ive used in other hotels. It was also great to have the trouser press.
br /The staff are quite friendly, notably the bar and restaurant staff, be it for breakfast and dinner.
br /The dinner food was generally good.

Negativ:
Parking: is not very user friendly in terms of manoeuvring around to either find a spot or to park.
br /Room Ambience: incredibly dark, which isnt helped by the dark decor. Not enough good lighting.
br /Housekeeping maintenance: although the place was generally tidy it wasnt as clean as you would expect. I found a stain on the pillowcase, the towels did not seem to be changed, the magnifying mirror was not functioning, the hand towel rail fitting was cracking and bent. The curtains did not cover all the window(s) (in my room).
br /The rooms lacked good sound insulation so that I could hear my neighbours TV, as well as the amount of times another neighbour used the toilet.
br /Check-in speed is quite slow even with all desks occupied, I waited about 20-30 minutes to get to a desk.
br /The decor could do with a refresh. Currently it feels very dark.
br /The hot breakfast was quite plain and felt cheap.

Great rooms, breakfast, bar and restaurant.. Excellent gym facilities and pool.

Negativ:
Car park is no longer free and spaces are extremely small and difficult to get in and out of the car. Car was scratched by an adjacent car. Uses to offered a complementary drink or loyalty points by this seems to have stopped. Stayed in the bar to watch the England v Germany game. Despite everyone else wanting to watch, there was a rule to not allow sound to be turned up.
